IntelliRoute - adding Intelligence to the Email InfrastructureFor the automated distribution of emails, which are not specifically addressed (e.g. to info@mydomain.com) the ContentRouting module is the ideal solution. Here the most probable addressee is determined by the content of the email itself and it is forwarded accordingly. Emails, which have been handled before and were associated with an addressee or an addressee pool, are used as a reference. The new message, to be processed is compared automatically with the reference messages by it's content. Associative techniques are applied and a degree of similarity between the new message and the reference messages is computed. This procedure is similar to the one used for search engines. If the degree of similarity that has been computed is big enough the message is sent to the same recipient as the reference mail. |

Messages, which can not be associated with reference mails, are handled as usual (manually). The result of this manual handling is then saved as a new reference message in MailsAndMore. Thus MailsAndMore is 'learning' new terms and combinations and adepts to changing realities, without needing any additional effort for administration. |
