Brainority is a developer and provider of the CODIKETT authentication platform.
By applying the three-level encryption with Brainority's patented cryptographic method a forgery-proof code is produced from a simple serial number which can be compared to an electronic fingerprint
This security code can attached to the product or its packaging in many different ways and can be verified by the consumer without any special equipment. The code can either be printed on labels which can have furher security equipment (e.g. holograms or tamper-evidence features). Just as well, these security codes can be printed on the product itself (eg by laser inscription). An option which is very convenient for consumers, is printing the security code as a 2D bar code or QR code. This way the consumer can verify the authenticity of the product with his smartphone very easily and directly at the point of sale.
In addition the manufacturer of the products protected by CODIKETT can make the codes 'inteligent' by assigning attibutes to the codes. This results in many additional possibilities beyond mere authentication. Thus product recalls or competitions can be conducted based on the codes.
A gray market analysis and tracking of goods are other interesting features of CODIKETT. All authentications of codes by consumers are associated with the geo-position and allow statistics and rule based alert functions. Thus a manufacturer can be automatically notified if a product is verified in an area of the world where it is not intended to be in the market.
Together with the partner Securikett GmbH an integrated system combining electronical and physical features for anti-conterfeiting can be offered from a single source. The security codes can be attached to the product or its packaging via labels. Thus brand protection and tamper evidence can be secured with the same medium.
